However, checks made by Music News with Reggae Sumfest, reveal that discussions are being held with the organizers of Summerfest Productions and two other partners.
The senior representative for Reggae Summerfest, further confirms to Music News that a formal announcement will be made regarding the future of the festival.
Meanwhile, efforts to get a comment from Josef Bogdanovich were futile.
Music News understands that key players such as Robert Russell and Johnny Gourzong are expected to remain the face of the festival.
Reggae Sumfest is said to be having discussions with outsiders in a bid to make the festival bigger and better.
The festival which started in 1993 is held each year in the summer month of July in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
As customary, the 5-day event begins with the Sumfest Beach Party, then an All-White Party followed by three nights of electrifying live performances beginning with Dancehall Night on Thursday, International Night 1 on Friday and ends with International Night 2 on Saturday at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex. source:irie-fm.net
