Innovata to work with producer DJ Frass
Innovata did not walk away as the winner of Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall, but he is winning in other areas, as producer DJ Frass has he will be working with the artiste.
DJ Frass said he saw Innovata on the TV talent show when he entered as a wildcard. He said he came across the animated deejay in person when he visited Markus Myrie's studio with the intention of being voiced on a rhythm.
"A Spanish Town him live, and him just walk come a di studio. Mi haffi give him a strength cause him well talented," DJ Frass told THE STAR.
"Jamaica need a talent like him, weh di people dem gravitate to. Is like him buss already. Is just some songs him want pon the radio fi mek him a household name, and it is gonna be worldwide by the end of the year."
Pleased with the opportunity, Innovata confirmed he has been working with Frass. Though he was not the winner on Saturday night, he said he felt like a winner.
"It come een like mi win the million. Mi love Magnum fi weh dem do fi mi," he said.
Frass added that he has since teamed up with Markus Myrie to work with Innovata. He said there are also plans to release the first single, Tadadadadaa, by the end of this week. He said a second single will be released in another two weeks.
