Cornelius Daley, the manager of dancehall artiste Gage, is gearing up to release a new rhythm called the Culu Culu.
The rhythm is to be released under Dutty Fridayz Promotions, operated by
Chris Gayle and his brother, Vanclive 'Father Bulla' Parris, and will
feature Gage, Savage and Razor B.The much-anticipated rhythm will be
marketed in the Caribbean and Europe. According to Daley, early
indications are that the rhythm will stand out.
"I am happy to proud to announce the release of the Culu Culu. Everybody loving it so far, especially the ladies, and I am very excited about it.
A lot of
work went into this production and mi just happy with the end result.
This is not the first time I have done productions, but I am feeling a
winning spirit with this one. Something just tells me that this is going
to be special," he said.
The manager/producer hopes to film an accompanying medley video as a means of expanding the social media reach of the project. He also disclosed that several exclusive projects will be released over the usually hectic summer holiday.
"It's summer, so we really putting in some serious work because we just want the best for dancehall. Gage continues to do work and I am playing my role to represent the genre to the best of my ability by producing good, authentic dancehall music. We have several projects in the pipeline, hits perhaps, if you want me to call it. It's all about working for the greater good of dancehall because we still have the potential to capture the world even more," Daley said.
He added that Gage recently performed at events in Trinidad and Barbados.
"The schedule is hectic; is like wi nuh live a yard. But a music wi sey, and wi a guh hard until we satisfied," he said.
