Fresh from the Catch A Fire Tour, Morgan Heritage Keeps on Jammin with Shaggy

Summer 2015 witnessed an historical moment, as the Catch A Fire tour saw three of Reggae's legendary families share a nightly stage. Night after night fans came out and were fully rewarded with high energy familiar reggae sounds. From traditional reggae and roots, to up-tempo dancehall, the intensity and passion translated to the fans as they sang in unison. By all accounts Catch A Fire surpassed expectation, It was a tour to remember!

"No one can deny the Catch A Fire Tour went down in history as a powerful statement about Reggae music out of Jamaica. What made it really special for us on the road was the atmosphere that surrounded the tour. It didn't feel like work. It felt like we were hanging out with family each and every day. This tour should be an example of the unity we need to take our music to larger audiences. Not only for Jamaican based Reggae artist but Reggae artist around the globe." - Morgan Heritage

Fans of world renowned Morgan Heritage are well aware of The Royal Family of
Reggae's musical melting pot of influences, and although the award winning band has made their historic musical mark in reggae, their 10 albums have featured songs fusing various genres.

While the sensational roots reggae quintet of siblings Peetah Morgan (vocals), Una Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Gramps Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Lukes Morgan (rhythm guitar) and Mr. Mojo Morgan (percussion/vocals) gears up to tour Europe in support of the top charting "Strictly Roots" album, the band announced the release of "Keep On Jammin" featuring Grammy award winner Shaggy.

The hit bound single is already blazing the airwaves and has surged to #28 after 5 weeks on the FMQB A/C chart. (Friday Morning Quarterback, the nation's leading music industry trade publication).

"This song captures the lighter side of the group and displays our musical background. Growing up in America we were exposed to Rock and R&B legends and we brought those 2 genres together with our brand of Reggae that we call Rockaz. Shaggy is our long time Brooklyn brother and no one turns up the party like him. So he was the perfect DJ to join us on this fun filled song". - Morgan Heritage

The single will be available on iTunes October 2nd, 2015.
