Frankie Paul's Funeral Set for June 10, 2017

The funeral service for reggae singer, Frankie Paul, will be held on Saturday June 10 at a church located on the premises of Ardenne High School in Kingston.

The interment will follow at Dovecot Memorial Park.

The veteran singer passed away on Thursday May 18 at the University Hospital of West Indies after a battle with kidney disease. He was 51.

Frankie Paul’s sister, Trish Clarke, confirmed the date of the funeral in an interview with the Zee and stated that more details will be confirmed in the coming days.

Frankie Paul, whose real name is Paul Blake, rose to prominence during the 1980s with songs such as Sarah, Worries in the Dance and I Know The Score. Born blind, he had been dubbed by some ‘The Jamaican Stevie Wonder’.
