Dancehall artiste  Face aka Pretty Face

Jamaican Reggae Artiste Shanique Wilson, more popularly known as FACE aka Pretty Face born on the 22nd of March has ventured on the scene of the music industry in Jamaica and the United States of America.

In her early years as a teenager searching for her niche in life she realized that all she did and desired was music. Her life changed when she entered Jamaica Cultural Development Corporation (JCDC) Festival as a top entrant however the turning point and defining moment came when in 2005 she entered the popular Digicel Rising star competition in Jamaica and was placed third.

To date she has been the first and only female DJ to be placed in the top 3 of that competition. Since then she has been a reggae artiste both internationally and locally.

She has received a number of “hit” rotations and play time on radio stations in the United States and Jamaica. Some of her popular songs include “NUH WORRY BOUT ME” which is a major hit on the radio currently, “YOU MAN WANT ME” which is presently a hot pick, along with numerous others. Face has also done some major collaboration both internationally and locally which has boosted her career hugely, her local collaboration doing well is “DRIVE IT IN” featuring Gyptian.
