Did Bob Marley create Reggae music? The answer to this question is "No".


Reggae music was created in a small community name Trench Town in Kingston, Jamaica.

According to a resident of the community name "Ras Cardo" he and his friends created Reggae music in his backyard.

According to Ras Cardo, he was Bob Marley's mento. Ras Cardo also states that Reggae music was created 1962 in his backyard in Trench Town, Jamaica and he was the one who created the word "Reggae" and also laid the foundation for many artists from that era.

Bob Marley is the most famous Reggae artist and he's is also credited with introducing reggae music to the world.
