Demarco Wraps 3-City U.S. Stint & Partners With Liquid Herbal Nitro Energy Drink

KINGSTON, JAMAICA | APRIL 2, 2013 | Intent on making an indelible mark this year, accomplished Jamaican entertainer Demarco continues to up the ante on his career. The Starkutt Records / True Gift Entertainment recording artiste last week departed the island for a three city U.S stint which culminated on Easter Monday. This comes on the heels of his recent six-month-long four continent tour which ended in January 2013.


Over the weekend Demarco made his first stop at the Northeastern University in Minnesota as the specially invited guest for a function hosted by the Caribbean students society. On Saturday and Sunday the ‘Love My Life’ singer appeared as headliner for a concert in Jacksonville and closed with an energized performance at the 4th Annual Easter Celebration at The Palace in West Palm Beach, Florida. The event also featured U.S based Jamaican deejay Don Yute and Mina Star alongside a host of Florida’s top disc jocks.

Prior to his departure, Demarco shot the official video for the soca-influenced hit single ‘Continue Whine’ produced by DJ Frass. Shot on location throughout the Kingston & St. Andrew thoroughfares the video features an elaborate setup complimented by sexily clad females demonstrating some provocative dance moves. The project was a collaborative effort with popular Energy Drink brand ‘Liquid Herbal Nitro’.

In a release to the media, Demarco’s publicist explained the reason for forging the partnership with the Energy Drink company, “based on popularity and the heavy rotation the song has been receiving, we thought it was only fitting to partner with a corporate brand that represents ‘high energy’ and based on public opinion Liquid Herbal Nitro Energy Drink appears to be the brand of choice for many consumers. “

Similar sentiments were echoed by Marsha-Lee Stewart, Marketing and Brand Coordinator for Liquid Herbal Nitro stating she was pleased with the partnership and to be working with someone of Demarco’s calibre.

The video is expected to be premiered in the coming weeks.
