David ‘Camouflage’ Kirton, accepting booking for 2017 'Unapologetic Tour'

David ‘ Camouflage’ Kirton from the Caribbean island of Barbados leads an unapologetically enthusiastic, talented young band of musicians who deliver an upbeat, Modern Reggae set filled with anthems, love songs and caribbean dance tracks.

Kirton originals include ‘Green Camouflage’, his hit song that charted in Canada, Barbados and dominated the MTV Tempo Charts for over 14 weeks.  Hard hitting ‘Ride on Natty’ and the deep bass line from ‘Cool Breezin’  bring a solid, authentic set that creates an rhythm filled Caribbean party.

Under RAS Records he toured the USA with The Spirit of Unity Tour opening for Third World, Steel Pulse, Maxi Priest and Culture in 1999. He toured the US with Joseph Culture Hill for (4) months performing 5 nights a week. Follow that up with (3) West coast tours and a recent few years of NACCA College circuit dates doing acoustic and band performances while road testing his new material.  Kirton has performed at Reggae on the River (4) times, SXSW (2), Midem,  Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl Summer Sounds, Greek Theater Berkeley, Bob Marley Day Long Beach and The Virgin Atlantic Music Festival. Recently Kirton has been headlining the popular Reggae on the Boardwalk in Barbados.

Kirton’s upcoming (5)th album is set for release May 2017.  Kirton is once again working with Jamaican producer Michael Bennett ( Shaggy, Ziggy Marley), Grafton Studios and has added Bulby York ( Vibes Kartel, Train) for a few key singles.   Kirton continues to expand on his Modern Roots Reggae sound that he has developed over his 20 year career with guitar led songs, infectious hooks, tight harmonies and solid substance from drum and bass. This (11) song album will be released in the UK and some EU territories by Right Recording UK and accompanied with a July UK Promotional Tour. Promotion will include  three music videos, radio promotion and Live acoustic promotional media tour with a UK Showcase.
