Dancehall's Duo K-Queens looking for a bright 2014 musically

Alliance dancehall artistes K-Queens are working to make 2014 their year to achieve the elusive breakthrough in the music industry.

The duo, who have been under the wings of Guinness Greatest Icon award winner Bounty Killer, say they are aiming to increase their overall presence in the industry.

"Our plans for 2014 are to be more visible on the music scene and to become a force to be reckoned with, putting out more singles, videos, being more marketable, and broadening our fan base. Year 2013 was a good year, it set the foundation for what we want to do in 2014, increasing our media engagements," K-Queens said.

K-Queens are now promoting three new singles, namely Wine And Turn You On, Ex Call, and Bedroom Bully, of which only the latter is yet to have an accompanying music video.

"We have been getting great and positive feedback from these projects, our fans are loving the new sound and style. Our new elements that we are bringing to the industry are a different and unique sound that is uplifting, life-changing, danceable and can be easily related to," K-Queens added.

The females are now working with Zionnoiz/Freeze Productions, Payday Music, and Karl Morrison. They are also looking forward to teaming up with their mentor Bounty Killer for a new collaboration.

K-Queens also said they have not soared to the top of the music industry because of their, strict moral principles.

"One of our biggest drawbacks in the music industry is us, being females in the business, not compromising our moral and standards in exchange for recording and to be heard. As a result of that, it may take a little longer, but with hard work, dedication and the Pitbull team that we now have on board, we are ready to face these and other challenges that we may encounter," they added.

K-Queens also has a new song out called God Bless Body, which features fellow Alliance member Kalado.
