Dancehall Reggae world had a chat with upcoming dancehall and reggae music artiste Branxx, who is now residing in the Sunshine City of Portmore, St Catherine, Jamaica.

We start off the interview the following question...

Question: Who or what influenced your career choice?
Branxx: I was born with music inside me, music influenced music cause I am a song I am music.

Question: Did you get formal training?

Question: Do you wirte your own music?
Branxx: Yes, More while I wrote song in my head without pen or paper, but it depends on the vibes and the block i'm on.

Question: If yes, where do you get your lyrical ideas to write?
Branxx : I get my music from life and from my experiences and the things that I've seen happened in life.

Question: Who is your mentor?
Branxx: Bounty Killer, And Supercat dem man deh mi look up to as a youth a grow up and know say lyrics and flow affi inna ovadrive.

Question: Which of your songs do you love the most?
Branxx: I love all of my babes, although gal ah you on the Evil Tears riddim is getting a lot of forward from the haters, big up to all of the haters in the world.

Question: What is your worst experience since becoming an artist?
Branxx: Voicing for producers who don't want to put out my songs.

Question: Your best experience?
Branxx: A performance I did in negril at margaritaville along with Aidonia lol, neco mi shell it to the ground it deh all ova the internet so everybody weh a pree da interview can go watch it for demself loll

Question: What would you change about the industry today?
Branxx : For producers to stop go around bad artistes and this payola business cut out because it a mash up dancehall music.

Question: What advice would you give to young upcoming artists?
Branxx: Stay focus stay motivated, watch THE company that you keep, don't sell out your real fren dem fi nuh hype,
always try better your craft

Question: How would you describe your music to people?
Branxx : All genre mi nuh discrimate inna topics we sing bout everyting because music is life and I am a song and a everyting life throw @ you thou so we put all of that together and thatis music we bring to the people world music everyday life music.

Question: What image does your music protray?
Branxx : My music potrays everyday experiences everybody can relate to

Question: What are your career goals?
Branxx: my goals is jus to be a successful dancehall entertainer dat can help mi scheme help mi family and better jamaica as well open up charity n treat fi d kids and spread mi music cross d globe like how d sky cover d globe like a blanket

Question: How would you define the word success?
Branxx : Success is when me as an artiste can tour the world and win a grammy then I would know I reach the ultimate but it nuh stop there because the sky is the limit.

Question: How do you market yourself?
Branxx :You can find me on the social network them, Facebook twittwer @branxxmusic. You can find me on youtube, search on google and listen your radio. Big up Suncity FM from portmore bigwoman ting Firewayne, Peanut, Mario and Calico. The sunjocks deh play mi ting dem big up also to Nationwide FM just the same and every radio station weh ago play branxx music.

Branxx: NO

Question: If no, who handles your business?
Branxx: Rite now am managing my own career, and big up one Notnice Promotion and Lady Anarebel they do bookings for me now. For the Kuff Brain Branxx.

Branxx: No

Question : Give five words that describe you, your style and personality.
Branxx: Very determine, Very straight forward, Loyal,I'm a very loving person when it comes to my family and the ladies,I'm also very entertaining person
