Curvy Diva gives emotional Sumfest performance - Newly minted recording artiste Yanique Curvy Diva on Friday night gave a heartfelt performance for her first ever full set on the Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest Stage at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay.

The artiste, who came equipped with her dancers and her glam squad, was overcome with emotion when she saw that her perseverance had paid off and in just a little more than a year after releasing her first single she was performing on the largest and most respected stage for Dancehall music in Jamaica

"It was hard to hold back tears while I was on the stage on Friday because I knew how much I wanted this and it was a dream come true. I've accomplished so much in one year as an artiste  and being on the Sumfest stage is the culmination of all the work me and my team have been doing since I launched my career, " Yanique explained

A career that has so far taken her all over the world performing for audiences in London, Africa, Canada, the US and the Caribbean. Already the talented singjay has released 4 solo singles and two collaborations with I-Octane and Kymani Marley.


For Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest, The Curvy Diva performed a full set on Friday night's stage and returned later that night during IOtrane's set to perform their collaboration 'Unfair Games' and her mega hit 'Lifestyle'.

"I have so much music in me and I can't wait for my fans to hear my new songs. When I performed my collaboration 'Unfair Games' with IOctane the crowd was singing word for word, it's an awesome and humbling experience," Yanique added.
