Buju Banton's Steppa Video Ignites 1990s Feelings


Veteran Reggae artiste Buju Banton brought back the 1990s feelings in his latest single Steppa.


The official video for Steppa was released on November 22nd, 2019 via Buju Banton's Official YouTube channel to rave reviews.

Lovers of dancehall music were saying this is what real dancehall music is. The video had garnered over 432,000 views with the first 48hrs of its release and rapidly climbing in numbers.

The video was released just in time for Buju Banton's big announcement that he was not signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation Music label. Buju is only the second Jamaican artist to be signed to the label. Damian "Jr Gong" was first, as he was signed back in 2016.

The video for Steppa was filmed in Jamaica on the beautiful Blue Mountain.
