Brooklyn Jungle Soundsystem


Brooklyn Jungle Soundsystem was formed in 1997 by Dr. Israel and
received critical acclaim for their debut album, Next Step as well as
the follow up, Black Rose Liberation (2001).

Mixing Reggae, Dub,
Jungle and Hip-Hop it was a sound that was uniquely Brooklyn. After
the first two albums, Dr. Israel joined forces with Bill Laswell's
Praxis project as well as is the front man of Laswell related projects:
Blood of Heroes & Method of Defiance.

2014 we finally see the return of the Brooklyn Jungle Soundsystem
with their first new material in 13 years. This time the good Doctor
teams up with Dub Gabriel in the studio to bring the revolution with
their new single "Kulture". Also featured is the great Kaia Brown (N.O.H.A.)on back up vocals and an amazing remix by Canada’s premier Dub
producer, Dubmatix. Mastered in London by the legendary Kevin Metcalfe
and pressed on thick hi quality 7” vinyl, this is a ltd. edition, hand
numbered & stamped series of 500.
