Las Vegas-based Broadyard Records is hitting the ground running by announcing the release of 3 new singles in the next few weeks.
About Broadyard Records.
Broadyard Records was formed in 2016 by Jamaican keyboard player and producer Ricky Dread. Ricky Dread has been in the music business since his teenage years, first playing in a band called Teen Titans, then later recruited by the Sixth Revelations to play at the Holiday Inn.
After Hurricane Gilbert in 1988, he moved to Negril and joined the Indica Band, backing the top artists of the time. He was then called up by his brothers to join them in the USA and play with them. Ricky Dread has played in Bonafide band with his brothers for almost half of his life, touring Japan, Australia, and New Zealand and finally settling on the Las Vegas Strip.
Although he loved to perform, Ricky Dread’s lifelong dream was music production. He has spent the last 10 years working in production including with many of the top Hawaiian artists.
December 2014 “A Reggae Reggae Christmas with Ricky Dread and Friends” was released, followed by the “Don’t Panic Riddim” in 2016. Ricky Dread is currently in the studio working on multiple projects including a new album by Bonafide.
