Briggydonvi real name Brane Smallwood was born on the second of May 1983 in the parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica.

He’s the fourth out of five siblings, growing up in the ghetto of East Kingston, Jamaica, St. Andrew that’s where he found most of his aspiration from both good and bad.

“Music was always my way of escaping the negativity around his surroundings” he said. At the age of twelve he decided to become a producer/engineer taking music for a living and a brighter future was his dream. It was already his passion to become a role model to his country, with no clue of what needs to be done, he put his heart, soul and Mind to the challenge alone.

At age thirteen he was surrounded by a lot of negative energy but he still kept it positive and strong, he took the life of his friends and his surroundings and turn it into music. This is what the Donvi does today to survive. Now 29 in 2012 and still unsigned to any major record label. He is now more focus than ever. He’s the founder and owner of Dondeavu Villa clothing line, Donvi Ent. Records and Jamaicaghettotv. He is also currently working with many other artists across the world presently.

Artists such as Mr. Black Patik, Itemologi, Logycub, Meddz, Shawn Smile and Many are just a few names currently under his studioship.
