Boss Dove Records recording artiste iBlack Lion is now eyeing international markets such as Europe as his single, 'No Pain', has begun to generate traction in the United States and the Caribbean.

"There is a universal message of no pain in love that has touched a chord with most reggae fans and that is why I am getting such a positive feedback so far," iBlack Lion said.

No Pain, which features an infectious chorus that deals with the joys of romantic love, is generating favourable airplay on stations in the US and Jamaica. The video has generated more than 10,000 views in only two weeks.

The song is the lead single from the artiste's seven-track EP called Story of a Dread which will be released this month.

"VP loves how No Pain is doing in the US market because of its tone and feel. Zojak Worldwide will be distributing the EP online in September. We are getting a great buzz in Jamaica with the No Pain video," his manager, Omar Dove, said.

iBlack Lion recently performed at the Jack Ruby Memorial concert organised by IRIE FM and on Jahmeil's birthday party event earlier this week at Triple Century sports bar in New Kingston. He will be shooting a video for his follow-up single, Nail Me Up, next month.

A very skilled kette drummer, he grew up in the tough inner-city community of Granville, St James. He first tasted international success with the popular single, Push Lady Push in 2005, which hit several reggae charts all over the world.

On the strength of that single, he has performed at major reggae shows in the British Virgin Islands, Barbados and the Turks and Caicos.
