Black Queen - Dancehall and Reggae music artiste

Female deejay Black Queen hit the Jamaica Music Countdown charts with her latest single, You Say, popping up at #23 on the reggae charts. Black Queen was enthusiastic about the news.

"I got a good response from the Roll With Me video and now, I am getting a great response with You Say, the video is really doing well on both TVJ and CVM.

The radio disc jocks have continued to play the song and the offers for shows are coming in," Black Queen said. "It feels good to be on the charts, l feel like my work is finally being appreciated. My friends, fans and family are feeling great and glad that I am getting some recognition and I am going to continue to work hard."

Black Queen has been voicing for a number of different producers who are now sending beats her way. She recently voiced a song called You're Mine on the Stronger riddim for producer Liv Up, and she did a remix of her radio hit, Dream Lover with Tinga Stewart. "We're planning to do a video as well for Dream Lover because the single is bad," she said. But in the meantime, it is the You Say single which is making waves locally.

The video has been rotating regularly, making the top ten on CVM's Hitlist programme and on TVJ's FiWi Choice Top Ten. Given the number of votes coming in, the song is going to be fixture on the video charts for the next couple of weeks. "The response has been crazy so far and I want to encourage my fans to continue to vote for me," Black Queen said.

She recently made an appearance on the talk show programme Susan and on TVJ's Intense entertainment magazine programme. She performed the You Say single on HYPE TV's Up and Live programme last week as well.
