Best Dancehall, Reggae Riddims to Voice or Record Duplate, Special On

Are you a sound system operator, dj or selector who is planing to get some Duplates/Specials for yourself or system?. If your answer is yes, I we have put together a list of some of the best riddims/rythms on which to have your dubplates/specials recorded on.

WHAT IS A DUPLATE?

Comes from dancehall reggae culture. Dubplate can refer either to an exclusive tune that only people with clout have access to or the acetate disk that those exclusive tunes are cut onto for play. Physically, a dubplate is a 10" or 12" slab of metal covered with an acetate laquer that is spun on a lathe and has music "cut" into it.

One of the biggest mistake most djs or sound system operators make is not recording their dubplates on long lasting riddims. Most of the riddims which are been created presently only have a street life of a couple months. Thus if you record your dubplate on any of these riddims as the riddim dies, your duplate also dies with it.

Here's a list of top riddims/rythms on which you can have your dubplates recorded, So that each one have a long lasting effect/life:

1. Taxi Riddim

2. Answer Riddim

3. Sick Riddim

4. Sagaloc Riddim

5. Showtime Riddim

6. Cuss cuss Riddim

7. Darker Shade Riddim

8. Shank I Sheck Riddim

9. Punnany Riddim

10.General Riddim

11.Far East Riddim

Please note, there are a lot of other riddims out there that may be used, but we consider these to be the best.
