This later motivated him, thus paving the way to discover his ability in the dancehall world. But it was not until when he turned 13 when he began to take more seriously. This period however marks a turning point in his life as it was at this age that he started to realize and decided to pursue his hidden talent and destiny.

A member of the Frontline Crew, a music movement that produces some of the Gambia's finest reggae dancehall stars, he quickly harnessed his talents before he became shinny star in the country. From then, the youngster took a giant step towards his dreams. The god gifted talented star no doubt has what it take make it in the international scene if supported. "I am called by the music and I have no option but to answer. Music is in my life," says Benjamin in one of his interviews. Benjamin's popularity has gone beyond the borders of this country and is widely known and featured in a number of collabo projects and in most of these projects he tops the chart with his melodious songs.
