The King of the Dancehall Beenie Man is confidence that his upcoming album will be a big seller.


The album which is titled "King In Control" is set to be release in July 2011. The 17 tracks album will feature mostly previously unreleased songs, the only released song which will be on the album are "Go Go Club" and "Rum and Red Bull".

The album will be release on his label MD Entertainment, producers for the album are Beenie Man and Mario Campbell.

In an interview with the Star Newspaper Beenie Man said "In an era where CD sales are down he is optimistic that "King In Control" can buck the trend.

"One day you can try to bring it back, don't it?. Lil Wayne them never know them woulda sell 10 million copy and bring back rap. Them make a choice and take a chance and it work. That me deh pon right now, take a chance. It Mus work man."
