A-Team DJs

The trio hails from various sections of Jamaica. Ace's from Kingston, Centrum from St Elizabeth and Carlos from Manchester.

Centrum explained that the level of diversity is an important part of their success.

"We all played music in different areas before forming the team. Therefore, we can pool together knowledge and ideas, allowing us to play for various kinds of crowds in a myriad of settings," he said.

Their career took off in November 2014, when they released their mixtape The Jamaican Party X-Perience.

"The mix-tape scene in Jamaica is saturated; consequently, we felt the need to come up with something unique. Hence, we recreated the Jamaican party vibe by using a live emcee and incorporating all the popular genres," Carlos explained.

Rave reviews

The mix-tape received rave reviews after totalling approximately 20,000 plays and 9,000 downloads across the Sound Cloud and Mediafire platforms respectively.

Since their establishment, they have frequented shows in Kingston, St Elizabeth, Manchester, St Catherine and Westmoreland, playing at popular events such as UWI Integration and Carnival, Booze, Risky Business, The Rack City Club, Indulgence, and ASAP.

In addition to their accomplishments in music, Ace believes the intelligence of the team has been a key factor for their success.
