Dancer, choreographer and singer all in one package describe Melpo Mellz. The Swedish singer came on the scene last year with her reggae/pop video ‘Pose’ produced by Stainy of Firestound and video directed by Cashflow Xtreme Arts. “It’s a new year and I am all about taking chances with my music as I intend to kick it up a notch” Melpo shares, “and further more I love Jamaica and the music produced here so I definitely want to be a part of something great”.
Melpo has now released her new dancehall/pop single and video entitled ‘Let Me Live My Life’. “I did this song because I have had many people who try to discourage me from following my dreams, so to me this song is my message to those persons basically telling them to let me live my life the way I see fit” expressed Melpo. The video was shot by Swedish Fam Pictures in Melpo’s community of Blue Hill, Sweden and directed by Melpo Mellz and her business partner Mike Yangstar.
“This video features my dance students, friends and I in my community; it has a simple concept and its very relatable” Melpo shares, “this is just one of the many videos I will be doing this year, as I intend to put a 100% in my music career”. Melpo’s publicist Talisa from Taylor Made Events and PR Management states “Melpo is very talented, she has the ability to sing and dance making her performance whole, and we will be putting a lot of effort into her career this year”. Melpo Mellz is expected to drop more new music and a mixtape soon.
