Resonators - UK Reggae Music Group

UK base reggae band Resonators has released its latest single "Surrender". 

Surrender is an uplifting, positively charged piece, with lead vocals from Kassia Zermon and Faye Houston, that comes complete with all that important dub version to boot.

It's a taste of things to come for the band's debut album for Wah Wah 45s, due to be released this June! With support from DJs as diverse as David Rodigan and Mark Lamarr, as well as 12 months of headline gigs and numerous warm up slots for the likes of Fat Freddy's Drop and The Selecter, this Brighton based outfit are starting to cause a real storm in the reggae community and beyond.

They have also played support to acclaimed reggae artists including The Wailers, Horace Andy, Lee Perry and Derrick Morgan, and collaborated on live shows with Roots Garden, the UK's longest running reggae night, gaining a strong following across the national festival and live circuit with their original positive sounds.

Fronted by two soulful and innovative female vocalists, this 8-piece troupe generate a sound which is equally strong and sweet, and conscious and fun.

As one of the most exciting live dub bands the UK has to offer, They take in all the influences of the original Jamaican sounds and rhythms, and bring it forward to the present.

Since the release of the debut album they have teamed up with London based label WahWah 45s and put out two beautiful 7” heavyweight vinyl singles.

'Sweet Love Affair' and 'Gold Getter' awarded the band with continued support from Rodigan on both his Kiss FM and BBC Radio 2 shows, as well as from Craig Charles (BBC 6Music) and regular plays across Europe and America.
