Reggae singer Luciano was given house and land in Gambia.
Reports are that the singer have now set up base there. The house and land was given to him by Gambian President Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh.
Luciano is presently Gambia promoting his latest album titled "United States of Africa."
He is expected to return home to Jamaica for his court date March 11, 2011.
Luciano was charge in 2009 for harboring a fugitive.
Since the release of his landmark CD "Where There Is Life" in 1995, Luciano emerged as one of the most important reggae singers in decades and the greatest hope for roots reggae's survival in the digital dancehall era.
Since that much acclaimed release, Luciano's music has been consistently praised for imparting sentiments of spiritual salvation, Rastafarian edification and African repatriation.
