Delhi Sultanate: Reggae and dancehall musician

He has opened for the likes of rapper Snoop Dogg and Bob Marley's talented son Julian Marley on their India tours, and is currently working on possibly the first ever Indo-Afghan reggae album.

Delhi Sultanate has collaborated with Sizzla Kalonji, one of the most prolific leaders of the conscious reggae dancehall movement. Yet, Delhi Sultanate — who often performs with the mysterious Begum X — is as local as he is global.

He was the India ambassador for the International Reggae Day that was celebrated on July 4 in Mumbai (and simultaneously in Kingston, New York and Miami). His most recent track, War Dance, is on a beat produced by Stephen Marley and features a sample from Super Cat, the legendary Jamaican of Indian descent who originated the style that Sean Paul and Damien Marley use today.
