ZJ Dymond is an employee of one of Jamaica's top radio station Zip 103 FM.

His birth name is Kerishma Davis, Dymond was born and raised in Orange Field, Linstead, St Catherine, Jamaica.

He is a past student of Dinthill Technical High School in the same Parish, St Catherine.

The ZJ DJ said that the got his inspiration from fellow co-worker ZJ Liquid, Collin Hines, Irie FM's DJ Wayne and others in the dancehall and reggae music industry.

He started out playing on his uncle's sound system in the early '90s where he continued to enhance his skills. He later moved on from there to playing on other sounds such as Twin Star, Travelling Star, to name a few.

Dymond said that he was not worried that much about the little money that he made, or the mornings of walking home after a dance/parties.

His big break came in November 2003, after playing at a pool party in Negril, the general manager of Margarita-ville, Mobay, love his vibes and engergy and asked him to come in for an audition for a house dj he got the job instantly.

In 2007 he entered the Popular Heineken Green Synergy Competition, where he placed third. This compition is geared towards giving upcoming DJ's a chance to show-off their musical knowledge and skills.

He is now a producer working with "Gesta Music Label", he has produced riddims such as Shellings and Motivation Riddims.

You can expect to get only the best dancehall and reggae music at any parties and dancehall sessions where he is playing. The Zip Jock also plays other genres of music such as Pop, Alternative, Soca, R&B and Hip Hop.

He is definitely one to look out for 2012 and the near future.
