Rising Jamaican reggae/dancehall sensation Vagan, born Shaquille Simpson is determined to carry on his family tradition by making a great impact in the music industry.
Vagan is inspired by family members such as; members of veteran band 'Blue Glaze Mento Band' (singers of the theme song for popular Jamaican program Hill n' Gully Ride), British rapper 'Giggs' and one of dancehall's most popular Aidonia.
Since Vagan's introduction to the music industry he has made an outstanding impression in the local market and has proven his capability to strive internationally.
With popular singles such as 'Bottle Party',
'Wine&Back It up', 'Don't kill the Babies', 'Dynamite' and 'No Bush
Weed' which is a remix of Kelly Rowland and Future's 'Never End', Vagan
has landed himself a large fan base. With Bottle Party being the most
favored by his fans the artiste continues to promote it while providing
new materials.
Vagan is currently workin on his EP labeled 'HIJACK which will be
produced by John Peli of JAF Records. Vagan's next performance will be
at Clarendon Jerk Festival October 20, 2013. With his strong musical background and hard work the 'Bottle Party' artiste is destined to blow up like a 'Dynamite'.
