Toya "The Boss Lady" dancehall reggae artiste
Dancehall Reggae artiste Toya, Born Latoya Alicia Jackson to parents, Elizabeth Pauline Gray and Bryan Jackson, she grew up in the Washington Gardens area of St. Andrew.
She attended Mavisville Prep and Edith Dalton James Comprehensive High before going to the H.E.A.R.T Trust NTA to complete a culinary course.
After leaving H.E.A.R.T., she landed a job as a chef at the Jamaica Pegasus. She got accepted in the Miami Culinary Arts Institute, but was unable to attend.
Even while holding down a full-time job, she was an avid party-girl.
The Down Sound Records-produced Hot Like A Fire by the sexy young vixen, has been burning up the airwaves like a missile strike over Afghanistan.
Dancehall critics believe that her stunning good looks and fresh sound could propel her as one of the industry's Next Big Finds in the next couple of months.
Girl of the moment is more known for her hosting of alcohol-fueled soirees in the Bahamas and her barely-there chic-sexy outfits that leave little to the imagination at local dances than for her breathy sexy vocals and spunky delivery.
But this is no fad. she is here to stay. Armed with a new video to promote her single, she has been doing a blizzard of interviews to raise her profile in the local market.
"The video is going to wow a lot of people, we really tried to be avante-garde and edgy with it and I like the final result".
Other top tracks from her are: 1. Propa Uau 2. Kep It Moving 3. True Blessing 4. Boss Lady
