Stephen Marley offer his house for buju banton release - Stephen Marley, the son of reggae Icon Bob Marley has offered his south Florida home to secure bail/release of Buju Banton.
Buju attorney, David Oscar Markus notified the court on Tuesday that Stephen is willing to post his Miami Dade property valued at $350,000.00 to secure Buju's release.
A friend in St Petersburg offered to put his home to secure Banton's
release earlier but did not have the $250,000.00 in equity which is
required by the judge.
If Buju is released he will be placed
under 24-hour surveillance with the costs being paid for by the defense.
He must also undergo random drug testing and surrender his passport.
