Ssense Dancehall and Reggae music artiste

Levon Dwyer aka Ssense began to make music professionally after leaving high school in the year 2000.

Unlike many of his colleagues, he wanted to ensure that he achieved a solid education prior to pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.

Shortly after graduation, he was encouraged by a friend to record a demo which was to show where he needed vocal improvement. However, the demo became a big hit in his community and the success resulted in him taking his artistic skills a lot more seriously, thus focusing on his career as a recording artist.

Few years ago he and his then girlfriend were expecting

their first child and she, hoping it would be a girl, decided that she would name the child Essence. They ended up having a boy but he fell in love with the name and rearranged it for himself. He associates the name with having a sixth sense and says that is how he sees himself. Hailing from Seaview Gardens in Kingston Jamaica, Ssense pulls imaginativeness from everyday life.

He also credits artists such as Shabba Rankin and Bounty Killa as the inspiration behind some of his works. He describes his music as inspirational, solid and natural Reggae/Dancehall.

Now a father, husband and entrepreneur, Ssense feels poised and ready to put the extra effort, time and resource required to take his career to the next level. He currently has a few songs that are getting steady radio and street rotation. Tracks such as 'man a king' on the cart wheel riddim by Strap Up Records, 'hustle hard' on the heatwave riddim by QB Records, 'by my window on the dela vega riddim by House of Hits Records and 'party tun on' which also features Jahshawn, on the static riddim.

And to ensure that his career continues to go in the right direction, he has entered into a management agreement with his wife, Ulanda Dwyer who will be his exclusive representative throughout the world.
