Silectah Joseph of King Sound Official Bio

Silectah joseph born in SOUTH AFRICA cape town in tiger burg in 1990 on 13 of Feb.Raised in a Christian home in cape town Atlantis Robinvale.

robinvale.Silectah joseph loved music from his school days that was from 2002 onwards up until now. He started to learn reggae/dancehall music in 2004, was practicing songs of Kartel, Bounty Killer, Capleton, Sizzla, Sean Paul and Wayne Marshall.

He loved reggae/dancehall music so much that he started knocking them on school desks. When he was 16 years old he started learning how to silect (dj) reggae music by a friend of him,from that time people loved the way he played (dj) reggae music. The reggae/dancehall fans enjoyed what he did and start noticing him and named him SILECTAH(DJ)JOSEPH becuz his tribe name is JOSEPH in the bible.

In 2009 he started to do his own muzik by writing lyricks on reggae beats,record them and gave it to his friends to listen to. He had 2 friends with him that were RASTAFARIANS. The 3 of them decided to come up with a name for the group and named the group KINGSOUND PRODUCTION, they believe that reggae music is kingly,because of the massages that most of the artists sing and rap. Before the year 2009 ended one of the group members died,the other one left the group,that leaves him alone...

Things got better and silectah joseph decided to open a home studio and go on with the name kingsound production. He started producing reggae/dancehall beats for him self and other artists. His first project was named ROARING LION RIDDIM,it was a reggae one drop riddim with artists from jamaica,it was released in NOVEMBER 2013.

After that he made a hit song with the name FAKE FRIENDS (BUN DEM) on one of his own riddims called THE HYBRID RIDDIM. He worked with BLACKOL RECORDS who is also based in south africka cape town. His determined to take reggae to a higher level using his skills and experience...
