Slim J

One of Montego Bay and Jamaica's finest dancehall and party selector Slim J has passed away.

Slim J passed away in his sleep in the USA. Reports are that he died of a heart attack.

Slim J is the second half of the popular duo of Slim J and Fire 20.

He was known as the dutty wine selecta and also appear on a number of top parties locally and internationally.

Slim J also worked as a selector on Krazy Dwag sound system before he decided to go and team up with fire 20.

Dancehall and Reggae music fans in Kingston will remember him appearing on Dutty Fridaze & Ukkubit Tuesdaze, while in Montego he appeared on Car-wash sundaze, Sunday Breeze among many other parties and shows.

He was also a selecor contracted to dancehallreggae.com for some time.

May his soul rest in peace.
