Sean Paul has won the 2012 Mobo Award for Best Reggae Act. The international dancehall deejay won ahead of Popcaan, Konshens, Damian Marley and Mr Vegas.

Sean Paul who is currently in India, was unavoidably absent from the 17th annual MOBO Awards that was held in Liverpool, England on Saturday November 3, 2012.

The MOBO Awards was established in 1996 to recognize and celebrate artists of any race or nationality performing black music.

Koshens or Popcaan Should've Won

I dont understand how Sean Paul won. I like his music and I think he's talented but Koshens or Popcaan should've taken this one.

They're more fitted for it. Their songs were good party songs and had a more dancehall influenced sound. I hear their songs at every party. I haven't heard Sean Paul new stuff as much or at all to tell the truth.
