Scratchylus nominated for ‘Best Reggae Artist 2014’

Friday, August 08, 2014

Jamaican international reggae star, Scratchylus, has been nominated best reggae artists of the year by Love Music Awards 2014 in UK.

The UK based Jamaican reggae artist, who has recently visited The Gambia to grace the International Roots Homecoming Festival, is a phenomenal star on the rise.

Scratchylus has just concluded a tour of The Gambia with Sizzla and others, where he performed at the International Roots Festival and produced a song and video, called ‘Plant The Food (Eat What You Grow)’ to support the farming communities across The Gambia; and already the productive track has been receiving worldwide acclaim.

Right after receiving high praises in The Gambia, Scratchylus headed to the United Kingdom where UK’s Love Music Awards greeted him with the delight news of his ‘Best Reggae Artist’ nomination.

However, Love Music Awards, a new music awards for new music artists and music creative, producers, music writers, bloggers, management, PR and record companies will this year award twenty-five awards and they are international.

The Love Music Awards as a concept was borne out of a monthly publication, called ‘Love Music Magazine’ features new musicians from any genre and is published online. “I am totally honoured to have been chosen,” Scratchylus said about the selection.

He then encouraged his fans to vote for him in the Love Music Awards via http://lovemusicawards.moonfruit.com/vote/4583288691.
