Roots Rising Released New Single 'Free'
Roots Rising, 11 piece reggae sensation from the Netherlands, released their newest single “Free” today.
“We
want to show through our music how important freedom is. At this point
in time society around the world is immensely divided. We stand for
unity and believe that's the key for the progression of humanity.”
Roots Rising has been making waves in the Netherlands for a few years now. In 2016 the band played more than 60 shows including a successful Popronde and festivals such as KWAKU, Rastaplas, Wildeburg, Pedro Pico Pop, as well as opening for The Wailers.
With a nomination for the Popprijs
Overijssel and confirmed bookings for summer 2017 at Mañana Mañana,
MadNes, Bevrijdingsfestival Overijssel and Utcazene (Hungary), the band
is quickly proving itself a live sensation.
