After some time in the dancehall music industry, young talented artiste Road Elf is expanding his horizons, learning new things and taking his career to another level.
Road Elf seemed a suitable name for the young star as it personified his street presence and physical stature. Officially since the start of 2014 he has been promoting hard in the streets and getting close to his hardcore dancehall fan base using his new image and high impact music releases as the driving force.
“I’m a positive artiste with fun songs that inspire movement and I’m gearing up for the world to see that.’ Road Elf shared
The Elf always had a love for the music long before he emerged in 2003 with the Ballaz Produced “In My Life’ single, his experiences since then have been eye opening, the last year in particular , working closely with RDX and the entire Apartment 19 family. “I’ve been learning a lot, from actually making a song to stage presence and singing on key. I’m constantly learning and growing as an artiste’ Elf added.
No stranger to performing, The Elf has graced stages locally and overseas, performing on large events and series including the RE TV School Tour for many years.
With new ideas and a fresh outlook Road Elf has started 2014 on a high with the release of two singles, “Naah Lef” produced by his Management and Production team Ballaz Production, and the monster hit “Head Top” produced by Apt 19 music, a combination with his musical big brothers RDX.
“I noticed that there was no songs paying tribute to females dancing on their head top and approached RDX with the concept, they loved the idea and we went in to the studio immediately to work on the track’ Elf stated “it was a joy making this hit with RDX as I’ve always admired them as dancehall superstars and to be a part of their actual process was a dream come true”
Fans can also look forward to ‘Tribal Touch’ a new single from the promising star now set to hit local and international platforms. These projects will help to further solidify The Elf’s goal of being a household name by the end of 2014.
