Ras Bogle frowns on lewd Performance By Black Queen

Rastafarian reggae artiste Ras Bogle is currently ticked off at fellow artiste Black Queen over her risqué performance at a video launch party for their new single, 'More'.

At the launch of their music video recently, Black Queen and Ras Bogle performed More. Afterwards, Black Queen performed a rendition of I Will Survive with some male exotic dancers doing some risqué dance moves.

But that did not go down well with Ras Bogle, who thought the latter aspect of her performance was inappropriate.

"She violate rasta because is like she have a separate rehearsal than the one that she have with me because after we perform and me come offa the stage, she go up deh wid some male dancers and dem deh pon dem knee and dem face close to her vagina like she ah simulate oral sex and dem ting deh," he said.

The artiste says Black Queen's performance was so lewd that he had to confront her about her behaviour.

Now, he says he wants to distance himself from the performance, which he believes can damage his image as a positive Rastafarian.

"Me and har jump off from the same night and then she go post it on YouTube and people from foreign a seh pon the comments section seh 'rasta mix up inna bangarang'. But mi want my fans to know mi nuh condone dem tings deh. Mi a hold my militancy inna the music, certain things anno fi Rasta Bogle.

That kinda livity mi caan condone and Black Queen fi know better. She overdo it and man try fight too hard wid mi career fi mek some loose people come derail my ting. Black queen take the freaky ting to a new level," he said.

When contacted, Black Queen told The STAR that she did not intend to embarrass Ras Bogle at the launch. However, she will not apologize.

"I don't know what he is calling freaky. From I was doing my part in the music video he was complaining that he did not want me to be too sexy because Rasta nuh inna dat. But Rasta is more sexy these days and the fans enjoyed the performance.

I will not apologies for being myself, but I did not intend to offend him in the process. I think he was more so upset because the two males came on the stage while he was there," she said.

Despite the current tension between herself and Ras Bogle, Black Queen says she holds no grudges.

"Mi nah guh disrespect him because we have a nice working chemistry and I think he is a great artiste. A just the Rasta thing him a defend and mi respect that, but other people have to be entertained too. I am still the black advocate, but I am just enjoying myself more and my fans can now find me on instagram at black.queen184," she said.

The male dancers in question are the same dancers who collaborated with D'Angel for an extremely sexual performance in a popular night club in January. That performance was also frowned upon by several viewers.
