Born in 1987 to a woman once thought unable to conceive by many doctors, Prince Levy came in this world like a shining star, thus the name Prince.
Later on at the age of 11 years old Prince Levy was granted a scholarship to attend the Westmoreland Community Music School which was operated by a of graduate Alpha Academy Boys home and Edna Manley :Mr Clarke and Vocal teacher Miss Grant. From then on Prince Levy began learning the intricacies of musical sound which he trained in. He was awarded several Gold medals performing for his music school as a soloist and lead singer in his school choir which was Knockalva Technical at that point. All this time Prince was residing with his grandmother, Tabetha Clarke who made sure he was strongly rooted in the church as well.
Due to this, he began doing vocal classes where he met Jay Edge, his Producer and it all started there, the music of Prince Levy that is. Since then, Prince has performed at events all over Kingston. Attempting to make his musical footprint, Prince Levy makes music through the beats of his soul. This was recognized by News Talk 93 FM which garnered him radio exposure with singles “Completely” and “Winery” for which a video was also made with Polish dancehall Queen Ula Afro Fryc, featured on YouTube.
