One Jam Music "Harder Than Hard" Riddim Takes Dancehall World By Storm
Jamaica, U.S.A (MPR Consulting) - In a span of a few weeks, One Jam Music has taken the dancehall world by storm with their hit "Harder Than Hard" riddim inspired by iconic movie "The Harder They Come". One Jam Music production is closing the year on a high note with the riddim enjoying heavy rotation on major local and international radio stations, features in major newspapers and a viral splash throughout the blogmosphere.
But there is more in the works as One Jam Music will kick off the new year with Part 2 of the riddim featuring a cast of dancehall and reggae stars, and an exciting video which will combine Bounty Killer's hit single "Harder" recreating scenes from the classic 1972 Jimmy Cliff film written and directed by Perry Henzell and co-written by Trevor D. Rhone.
Lead off by Grammy nominated international star Bounty Killer top charting single "Harder", Part 1 of "Harder Than Hard" riddim also features dancehall star Laden, and One Jam Music artists sexy songstress Abby Dallas, multi talented JayQ and rising artist Mezma. About Abby Dallas: Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Abby Dallas grew up in the sunny town of Portmore, where she attended the Bridge Port High School. At the tender age of six, Abby was exposed to music through her Church , School and Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Sponsored Events. Time and time again, Abby has
been recognized for her outstanding vocal talent: Most Outstanding Soloist (2005), Best Female Pop Singer (2005) and Most Outstanding Junior Vocalist (2005). Abby toured with International Artists like Diana King and Tanya Stephens. Her easy going and relaxing style, which often reminds one of Nina Simone, makes her a favourite in the Cabaret and Jazz circuits as well as National Gala Events. Abby also enjoys working out with accomplished talents like Dean Fraser, Shaggy, Queen Ifrika, Mavado and Yellowman.
About JayQ: Born Llyod Nelson on the beautiful island of Jamaica, the versatile dancehall and reggae artist later adopted the moniker of JayQ. Although he developped a passion for singing at an early age, his career didn't fully bloom until becoming a young adult. Influenced by the likes of Beres Hammond, John Legend and R.Kelly, JayQ's love of all music genres is self apparent in his deliveries. Blending reggae and R&B, JayQ's smooth voice and strong vocals have been compared to those of Richie Stephens and contemporary R&B star Miguel.
About Mezma: From the tender age of 5 years old Adrian Ricardo Seville knew that he was destined to sing. Known as Mezma he perfected his craft from beating chesse pan on the side walk, to school, parties and weddings. Inspired by the legendary Sugar Minott, Mezma's versatility and keen musical ear has enabled him to criss cross between reggae and dancehall. As his motto says it all "Team work makes the dream work", Mezma well rounded abilities have made him a welcome and celebrated addition to One Jam Music roster.
