Learn a Little More about Gospel reggae singer OmariBorn on February 3, 1980 in Kingston, Jamaica, his dynamic voice and peculiar gifting has paved many roads for him. A young, vibrant, passionate man, Omari's vision is to reach the lost youths of Jamaica and around the world.
A lover of music, Omari grew up listening to icons, such as Babyface, Donnie McClurkin and others. At the age of seventeen, he attended a youth gospel concert, where he was an invited guest.
Though he was a non-Christian, he felt compelled after having heard the gospel through one of his friends and received the Lord that night before his performance.
He also helped to pioneer one of Jamaica's first gospel-rap groups, "Rappaz for Christ" and is currently a member of Family Church on the Rock.
His vision is to be a true vessel of God, to minister healing to the youth of Jamaica and wherever in the world the Lord takes him. Wherever he goes, he endeavors to speak life to dead situations and to see the life of Christ come to those who are lost.
