The Bob Marley Movements Festival is unlike any other. It is not only for entertaining the patrons, but a humanitarian effort to feed the hungry.



This festival is in effort to keep the Bob Marley spirit alive by giving and spreading the love of the music.

This is an annual festival that has seen 17 years (2010) of great music and charitability. To date, the festival has collected over 1 million canned goods to help charitable organizations eradicate hunger and malnutrition in the state of Florida.

Each year, different organisations are chosen to help the benefit. This year, the Haiti Relief and Curly's House, an organisation with a mission to improve the quality of life for low to moderate income earners, the elderly, youths at risk, HIV/AIDS individual, families and the abused has benefited.

Other organizations that has benefited in the past are Farm Share and Food for Life.

This festival is held at the Bayfront Park, Miami and has seen top reggae and dancehall acts from around the World and Jamaica.

The Marley's, Capleton, Shaggy, Tarrus Riley, , the Resolvers, Jahfe and Spragga Benz. There were also some local DJs, Walshy Fire of 103.5 the Beat and Jahstream of Mixxx 96.

This festival packs one of the best entertainment package that is never to be missed and remember to take some canned items with you should you visit one year.
