looking for an old track called a christmas reggae time.

by dionne
(hackney, london)

The song in question is by a female and is from probably from between 1965 to 1980.

the lyrics go like this

Christmas time..bells are ringing, celebrations but im on my own
were apart we should be together I wish you could be here
a christmas reggae time
(not sure but I think it goes)
if only you knew how I felt I miss you so much yes i miss you darlin tonight
a christmas reggae time.

I inherited it on an old 45 about 25 years ago with a whole bunch of studio one records. The song was not a studio one recording, the sticker on the record was burgundy with silver writing and the vocalist sounded a little like Lorna bennet. It had a kind of lovers rock feel. My family used to play it every christmas morning loudly so everyone knew it was a Christmas reggae time in our yard! Dutty burglars teefed out all mums records and player too of course! I would love to find it again for christmas in my own house with my children, such good memories of getting the day under way with mum and my 5 sisters and brother....back in the day when I was young..er. any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
