La-Diva – Living Her Musical Passion

Deborah Johnson aka La-Diva has now turned her back on a steady 9 to 5 to focus on the real love of her life her music.

Knowing how competitive the industry is, she is banking on her talent driven by her passion to succeed to make it worth it all.

She is already on a good footing as her melodious voice and versatility has seen her not only singing, but deejaying, rapping and she is also fancy on her feet too!
Singing from a tender age, she graduated to performing at weddings. Church functions, concerts, band wagons and anywhere she has a forum to show her talent. 
La-Diva who hails from Old Harbour, St Catherine in the community of  ‘Africa’ to be exact she is driven by her humble beginnings to be one of those who can make it to give back to the impoverished area. 
With her mind focused on the city lights she entered Digicel Rising Stars three times. Although she did not make it past top 10 she is still grateful as for her it helped in building her confidence and giving her an additional boost in exposure. 

La-Diva has recorded three singles which has been receiving a lot of airplay on various radio stations. 
The singles are Solid As A Rock, Sometimes In Life and Carnival Turn Up a song done in collaboration with Dalla Coin and produced by Audiotraxx productions.
Commenting on her music La-Diva says she is all about positivity. 

“I intend to make my mark in the business by sticking to positive materials,” she said. 
So far that has been working as she has been receiving rave reviews from listeners regarding the impact of her songs. 

Her dream is to connect with people all over the world through her music. 

“The sky is the limit where my music is concerned,” she said adding that she has a whole catalogue of songs that she has written and is awaiting recording. 
Cognizant of her social responsibility she also uses her spare time to engage in volunteer efforts.
