Japanese Reggae artiste Koddy Ready to Take On The Music World

Koddy is a reggae singer and deejay from Fukuoka, Japan, who has made History being one of the first Female, Japanese Reggae Artists to tour not only Japan, but the U.S. and Jamaica in one tour.

Her career began in her home town in 1999 where she began performing at many local nightclubs and was immediately loved for her vibrant stage presence and loving interaction with the masses. In 2005 she moved to Tokyo, Japan where Koddy's stage craft, repertoire and total artist development bloomed over the years, ultimately making her a major figure in reggae music.

In 2010, Koddy joined the Rebel Soulz camp, and has since performed all over the world and in such music festivals as 'GT Taylor's Reggae Christmas Extravaganza' in Jamaica, where she made herself and her country proud and mesmerized her audience with a breath taking performance. She had her fans on their toes as she stepped on stage. In fact, so strong was the impact, it proved that this Japanese Artist was something the Jamaican public yearned for and they didn't hesitate to show their love for her.

Koddy is known for her 2009 record, 'あーだこーだ', on the compilation album '無限十六 vol. 4', produced by Japanese producer, Infinity 16 - Tela-C; her 2010 record, 'Dance Floor' on the compilation album 'Street Ryders vol .1' produced by Japanese producer, Hase-T; and her 2011 record 'Beautiful Day' featuring Major Label, Japanese Artist Moo min, produced by Yossim & Koddy and Executive Produced by Koddy.

Koddy has enjoyed major airplay on the airwaves from the most popular radio and television stations in Jamaica from Irie FM to Hype TV, CVM and TVJ. Koddy's music resonates with conscious, sincere energy. She maintains a passion for support of the various less fortunate communities throughout Jamaica and the world over and is driven to bring about change starting with self.

Her most recent releases, 'I Love You (Soul Food Riddim)'; 'I Love You (Tech Remix)'; 'Power (Power Riddim)' and 'Hustla (Work So Hard Riddim)' have the world falling in Love with this distinct artist.
