Kenya's #1 Selector, DJ Mura now taking bookings for 2014


Dennis Mwaura, professionally known as DJ Mura from Nairobi Kenya, is one of the youngest international Kenyan disc jockeys and music producer in the region. He is also the C.E.O of Topklass Sound, one of the most respected sound systems coming out of Kenya.


DJ Mura was introduced to music at an early age by his family, most of whom were followers of Gospel and rhythm and blues. In 2007 he joined a boarding school which is where he began taking music seriously. He would download music, burn them to CDs and then play during entertainment sessions at school. His love for music grew as he got more and more involved in the industry.

After high school he decided to pursue a career as a disc jockey. In 2011 he enrolled to Soul Sounds Academy in Nairobi where he was trained in the art of music selecting (DJing). Once the course was completed he was then considered a certified DJ who was then hired by persons all over to entertain them with his skills on the turn-table.
