Kardi Tivali - The youngest son of Horace Williams and Marlene Campbell, Birth name Emeil Williams was born on the 30th October 1986 in Kingston, Jamaica.
He is an artiste, producer and songwriter. With early acceptance of his roots and culture, inspiration of the most High and being motivated by good musicians of all times, the elders and true originators of Reggae and Dancehall music, Tivali's love for music began from a tender age 5.
Anointed by the light of true knowledge of the Creation, Kardi Tivali righteously accessed the power and right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience with his calm, cool & militant persona as a child growing up in Kew Lane, Maxfield Avenue.
Upon seeing his older brother Emelio "Shawn Pemp" Williams a.k.a. "New Starr" and friend Oneil "John Dawg" Johnson (now deceased) in the music fraternity, he further aspired to play an imperial role in the entertainment/ music industry.
He began pursuing music while attending one of the Island's premier high schools, Kingston College where he mainly hung out at Vendetta Studio. Gregory Williams, brother of Kardi Tivali completed construction of the Enrapture Productions Studio in 2003.
There, Tivali found a new love for engineering, the creation of Reggae/Dancehall rhythms, and producing on a whole. He has constructed numerous rhythms for various artists in the Industry while working at Enrapture Productions such as "Swiss Bank Riddim", "Time Square Riddim", and "Da Riddim Ya", to name a few.
As a professional Reggae musician, engineer and producer he has performed at clubs, festivals and venues throughout Jamaica. Kardi Tivali has collaborated with Pinchers, Half Pint, Yellow Man, Kiprich, Alozade, Twin of Twins, Lawgiver, Rich Ras, Merciless and Munga among many others.
Tivali favorite part of the musician’s life is because it allows him to “du suhm” (do something) progressive in the music industry, which makes him happy.
The names "Rambo" and "Bobo" were given to the "Everything Is Everything" singer by his father's younger sister and brother "Aunty Andrea" & "Uncle Junior" (as he calls them) respectively.
In 2010 Kardi Tivali opened his own Production and Recording studio, Tremor Maddanize Music where he is currently working on his debut album.
The pseudonym Kardi Tivali was attained due to his lyrical contents of his songs and his awareness of the Government’s “massacre” of thousands of Rastafari worshipers, along with other innocent civilians of Our People in the 1959 - 1963 Back-O-Wall (now Tivoli Gardens) and Coral Gardens Incidents, the attacks by the Crime Management Unit in 2001 and the 2010 West Kingston unrest.
