Karamanti calls out Jamaica’s Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition in new video

On Karamanti’s latest single entitled “bun Andrew and Portia” she outlines why she believes both the current Prime Minister, Portia Simpson-Miller, and the leader of the opposition, Andrew Holness have failed the people of Jamaica.

In the song, Karamanti addresses the Prime Minister’s frequent trips abroad, the slide of the dollar and the rise in the crime rate. She equally talks about the silence of the leader of the opposition during what is arguably Jamaica’s most challenging time.

Though she was warned by many not to do the video, for the fear of backlash from die-hard supporter (of both political parties), Karamanti still went ahead and did the video. It was shot and edited at various locations in Kingston, Jamaica by Maria Jackson Entertainment.
