Dancehall Reggae artiste JAH MALI

When Young Ryan Thomas decided to enter into the music industry full time he had already garnered some experience as a Teacher of Math and General Science.

"I just decided that working wid what Jah blessed me wid naturally and being a Teacher to a much wider community w...as more effective than one class-room at a time," he said.

Ryan "Jahmali" Thomas, is the ninth of ten children, born April 5 in Clarendon, Jamaica, began singing at home, and according to his earliest memories, his family was very musical, the Accordion was at the center of their regular sing-a-longs.

He took part in several competitions at church, school and his community, Jahmali finally worked up the courage to tag along with childhood friends, with whom he had shared musical interests, to the studios where he had always heard about in Jamaica's capital, Kingston.

Jahmali made a serious impact with his introductory hit song and album of the same name, "El Shaddai" produced by Donovan Germaine of Penthouse Records.

This melodic soul, reknowned for his natural talent, had prior recordings with King Jammy, Barry O'Hare and Bobby 'Digital' Dixon. Jahmali's sophomore album, "Treasure Box," was produced by Bobby 'Digital' Dixon for Brickwall Productions.

This "Treasure Box" again validates this great artist’s ability as one of Jamaica's best vocalists to date! It is evident, with Jahmali’s excellent writing skills and superb vocals that his music will continue to connect through diverse genres.
