Ishawna nominated for IRAWMA

Dancehall artiste Ishawna continues to reap rewards for her hard work.

The talented Downsound Records artiste has been nominated in the Best Female Dancehall Artiste category of the 2015 International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA), scheduled to take place in Fort Lauderdale on October 4.

"It's an honour to receive a nomination acknowledging your hard work, and I'm very grateful for the support of my fans worldwide and the team around me. Congratulations to all IRAWMA nominees and I'm looking forward to attending this event and having a good time," Ishawna said.

The songstress, who has been making huge strides in her career, last week released her new single, Try My Love, a collaboration with Nicki Minaj's ex- boyfriend, Safaree Samuels. Ishawna has also been receiving international airplay for her Dance Floor single with American rapper Pitbull.

Her singles Vroom Vroom, Oh La La, Cheerful Giver and Restraining Order continue to top local and regional charts.
